Who We Are

The Addis Army, as we are affectionately known, were formed on the 2004/05 tour to South Africa. Since that successful tour the Army has enjoyed a large presence on every England tour.

Each new tour brings new members to the Army for whom we're proud to have within our ranks. Our primary aims are to enjoy watching our country, offer them unrelented support, and perhaps most importantly of all to have fun.

Since our formation we have received recognition from members of the very side we support and we're pleased they are appreciative:

"Thank you Addis Army for all of your support." Michael Vaughan (former England captain)

"Best wishes to the Addis Army." Ian Bell

We have built this website not as a commerical enterprise, but because we want to share our enjoyable experiences of following England abroad and if it encourages just one further England cricket supporter overseas then we have done our job.

Below are profiles of our core members. If you see our flag at a game and would like to come and enjoy a beer, please do we'd love to meet you and welcome you on board.
